I saw a post on Snaps earlier asking which L2 tokens are worth holding. As a Hive user with some tokens in my Hive-Engine wallet, I felt like sharing (or shilling?) the ones I’m currently buying. Just to be clear, I’m not trying to shill anything, since I have no affiliation with any of these tokens. I'm simply sharing the ones I feel comfortable holding or investing in.

I actually commented on that Snaps post, but I only listed some of the tokens I hold without offering any explanation.
So in this post, I want to share my insights about each of the tokens I hold and explain why I’m buying and holding them. I hope I can do this without sounding pushy or like a token shiller. But if it comes across that way, here’s my disclaimer: I'm not a financial expert, and nothing in this post should be considered financial advice. I'm just sharing my personal experience and the information I’ve gathered about the tokens I choose to buy for fun and for my own interest.
Let me start with one of my favorites and the token I’ve been holding the longest...
CCD Token (CryptoCompany)
This is the token issued by CryptoCompany, created by PowerPaul. It serves as the primary medium of exchange within the CryptoCompany ecosystem. If you’re not familiar with it yet, feel free to check out the website: https://cryptocompany.ceo/
The project has evolved over time and now offers a variety of services, some of which are designed to burn CCD tokens. One of my favorite features is the HSBI Generator. You simply stake your CCD tokens, and in return, it generates HSBI tokens for you to claim.
I’m currently holding 1,000,000 CCD tokens, which took me months to accumulate. Right now, it’s earning me 1 HSBI token per day — that’s approximately a 37% APR!
DAB Token
This next one is a recent discovery of mine. It was actually suggested to me in one of my Snaps posts, and I’m really glad someone brought it up. In my opinion, it’s one of the tokens that yields a solid amount of passive income. Just by holding DAB tokens, I’ve been receiving daily dividends equivalent to approximately 34% APR, and it’s been consistent so far.
It recently went through a price drop, but it also recovered within a few days, proving to be a resilient token.
At the moment, I only have around 57 DAB tokens, and I’m still in the process of building my holdings. In fact, I currently have buy orders on Hive-Engine, just waiting for someone to fill them.
EDSI Token
I’ve been holding this token for quite a while now, and it has been giving me weekly $HIVE payouts with an approximate APR of 19%!
You can get your hands on this token either by buying it on the Hive-Engine market or by simply delegating to the @eds-vote account and receiving weekly EDSI token payouts. If I’m not mistaken, the EDSI tokens you receive from delegating HP provide an approximate return of 4% APR. It may not seem that high at first, but once you accumulate EDSI, it generates a generous amount of HIVE payouts.
Overall, it’s a solid token to hold!
Aside from income-generating L2 tokens, I also have a small stack of gaming tokens like ZING and SPS.
I’ve been holding ZING for quite some time now, and I also own some in-game assets like Alpha Vials that generate yield for me. But unlike the first three tokens I mentioned, both SPS and ZING reward me with the same token. So in the case of ZING, I receive ZING as a reward, and it’s the same with SPS.
While I’ve been holding ZING for a while already, SPS is a more recent discovery. I started buying it because I plan to participate in the Splinterlands game. I want to make sure I consider every aspect of the game, and holding and staking SPS tokens helps with that. Staking SPS also earns me approximately 11% APR in rewards.
Of course, another reason I’m making this post is to set clear goals for each of the L2 tokens I hold. I want to keep investing in these tokens so my holdings continue to grow, and setting specific targets helps keep me motivated to keep stacking.
CCD ~ I’m already happy with a 1M stake
EDSI ~ For now, I’m satisfied holding 101 EDSI tokens
DAB ~ Goal: 1,000 DAB tokens (current progress: 5.7%)
SPS ~ Goal: 100,000 SPS staked (current progress: 2%)
It’s clear I still have a long way to go in building my DAB and SPS holdings, but I’m looking forward to making small, consistent buys and continuing to stake them so they can keep growing over time.

Hitting 100k CCD is considered a good milestone. I remember when mine was just around 10k, and then a few months of building I achieve 1M.
