RE: How Does It Feel To be In A Growing Industry Whilst The rest Of the World Burns?

in LeoFinance3 years ago

20 years from now, "work" will look incredibly different from how it does today. With automation and AI, many humans will simply not be needed to do the amount of work that needs doing. Whether that means a 20-hour work week will become "standard" or we end up with a 100% "Gig Economy" remains to be seen...

As for what we're doing here, I'm thinking we're about where the Internet was when there were 50-75 million users. People could appreciate it's potential (rather than outright rejecting it) but mostly fell back on their "Oh, it's just a place for gamblers looking for porn, gamers and creepy pedophiles looking to abduct our daughters."

Give it another five years and we'll be in the middle of widespread mass adoption.

Yup. Exactly how I feel. We might even see a gig economy on the metaverse. Who knows what sort of amazing (and downright sadistic) stuff could appear.
