Interesting to see this... as I recall, it used to be said that it takes about five years to achieve "expert status" in something you take on... but I did the 10-year time frame, as well.
I wish the cryptosphere would learn a little more long-term thinking and long-term planning; too much emphasis on what I think of as "the lottery approach" in hopes of scoring a Lambo by next week.
As an aside, this account started in March 2018 and we actually do have goals lined out through 2026... so maybe we're on the right track!

I'd say you are definitely on the right track.
I think the developers think long term with their planning but a lot of others are impatient. They forget we are early adopters and not everyone is interested in jumping in at this stage. Then they get impatient because we're not flooded with new members, we're not really ready for them. We're moving at a good pace.
