RE: Polycub: Follow the Money ; Emission Reduction & Bonding

in LeoFinance4 years ago

I've been asking this question for 3 weeks now and still haven't gotten an answer:

Why would someone want to buy PolyCUB a year from now? I get why people would hold it. But why would someone new come in and buy it?

If we could get a solid, legitimate answer to that question it would go a long way towards making this platform the home run people are hoping for.

Hopefully the loan thing will be a big enough use-case, coupled with the PoL buying PolyCUB off the market, to stabilize the price. It would really be handy to be able to take out loans and use the money without having a taxable event. We'll see...

It all hinges on protocol owned liquidity. If they can sustain the platform and build up millions of dollars in POL, then people are essentially buying a share of a farm (which is a safe bet) that pays dividends.

If the POL doesn't get past a tipping point, the whole thing will implode (or at least that is my take on it).

well the first usecase that is coming is being able to take out a loan with it
