That's a cool idea but trees take a lot of time to grow and support the environment. The speed at which we are killing it is too much. It would require more than a thousand trees to save it.
Anyway, bitcoin is not as bad as environmentalists think it is. Its impact on the environment must be equivalent to a small country.

Well...I guess its a possible solution but I don't really see any reason to invest in it. Energy sources are moving to green energy over time and I have a feeling it will be there soon enough.

Also, PoW mining has a grim future. Only a few wealthy folks will be able to afford it. We have better Proof of Stake blockhains which are faster and cheaper to mine.

This sounds like a good plan with a great many trees being cut down for farm land. That and all the concrete that will probably have my part of the country in a flood state! It has been raining non-stop all day and my mobile phone is blowing up with alerts.
We need trees to suck up all this rain! Hope they plant some of the trees here!
