It's actually a game where it's never too late. It really isn't much of a moneymaker. You just put a little in, start a farm, and then build it up as fast or slow as you want. You're not really competing with anyone. They have a few "events" every year where you can participate and get some cards you can sell for a decent amount if you want. Otherwise, you just run your farm which takes a couple minutes here and there. Easy.
