For the moment I’m trying to create a 10 percent liquidity. I would be willing to sell that around Usd 3 per steem. But depending on the price in satoshi I might trade it to bitcoin as opposed to cashing it out.

Interesting approach. $3 seems low to me, as I was here for the highs but its not a bad price point either :-)
3 is a bit low. But I would only sell 10 percent of my holdings. Next selling step would be higher and perhaps a larger amount
I bet if you sold at $3 you would end up kicking your self for not holding. it's really a difficult decision.
