Introduce Fire

Ok, I just woke up this morning to see myself doing what I actually did not plan for. Wasn't a bad one anyway since that particular exercise has been a long waiting procrastination. The year is ending and that natural instinct of wrapping things up ahead of the next just caught me. There is a proverb that goes like this; ‘the eyes are lazy, the hands work’.

The emphasis here is that if ALL you do is to gaze at a challenge, it will never be done. The eyes always weigh the time and energy while the hands weigh the intended results.

Before any further, let me pause us with this question; what is fire? I know what you are thinking or maybe I am just assuming you are drawing yourself to the table of physics. At least in a layman's definition, what sets things ablaze. In short, when it comes to fire, no one needs a double warning, even a new born baby knows the environment lacks safety under intense heat.

We can also say that fire is an element that devalues and on another end, an element that adds value. When it comes to its devaluing nature, it is something someone wouldn't want to experience. Consider a fire outbreak and what it does to what was once well decorated. Looking away from that, we can talk of its value-adding processes. Think of what fire does to hard minerals like gold or silver, its true value is realized. People come pricing for it worthingly.

Or maybe we can talk of a burnt post or ‘burn a token’ processes. In a nut shell we know its advantage, it aims at adding value to that ecosystem and such tokens. Think of how this aids in inflation control through managed supply. How about the security of the chain and its long term benefits for holders? Maybe I will have to cover a full length article on this. We go again, it seems I have brought in much tech talks in the process.

Getting back on course, I was about to do some cleanup of some waste materials. I was wondering how I will be able to keep that corridor as clean as possible with so many rags in there. It took so much space and while the recycling promise my co-partner was telling me wasn't done, I had to step in and clean up the mess. How do we get this entire rubble or rags out? Simple; ‘introduce fire’.

The nature and quality of fire can be amazing. All I had to do was just pack what I could into thrash bags, take it somewhere open for burning and activate the process. It seems the rags waste was much until fire stepped in. I mean, before I could even return with newly packed ones, the earlier ones were already burned up. In short, it made the routine very interesting and I was able to clear the entire corridor.

In the end, what seemed much was reduced to a few hand packs of ashes. I was even asking, is this all that was blocking my corridor? Fire proving it is a no nonsense military general. >Proverbs 30:15b-16 (NIV) “There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, ‘Enough!’: the grave, the barren womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and FIRE, WHICH NEVER SAYS, ‘ENOUGH!’. Have you seen this scriptures before?.

To conclude, let me add, yes, this element remains a big mystery; both damaging and refining depending on the settings. Is fire worth mimicking? First, one has to understand that fire is an element of its class. It keeps to its principles and without noise, fire is a depiction of action. Another thing to consider about fire is the character for dominance, when exposed to it, its sole duty is to bend you to its. So answering the question, my few put ups leave you to make your decisions.
