How often we procrastinate until we are near D-day. We many times underrate our potentials until it seems a do or die affair. There is one thing about me that I feel I need to sit up against. Yes, you will first have to admit some ‘bad habits’ if you intend to grow. Practice makes perfect they say but when it comes to me at most times, emergency or D-day makes perfect.
Have you been there before, feeling bored preparing ahead of time for exams and you will have to burn yourself out in a week or two or even most especially, the day to the examinations? How about looking through accounting. It could have to do with following up on something, there are so many things I could talk of. As we speak, I have to step in and resolve an urgent situation which has kept me in the office even in the later part of today.
There are two additional ways I have discovered how to learn. You can stick around those who have experience and it will gradually rub off you. Or you could also in the process go on a personal research to do what they do in another way. What matters is results and even better when your discovery is enhanced perfection. It is not mostly the number of hours put into doing something that makes it quality or perfect but rather the needed tactics and I value tactics.

Am I lazy? Never undermine anyone who knows how to work smart. Entrepreneurship is first a brain work. I can remember a quote from one reputable figure that goes like this; ‘give a lazy person a task and he will find a new way to do it’. The idea behind it is the fact that many we assume ‘lazy people’are very creative. Personally, I always feel there are new ways of solving old problems.
My brother decided to do one of these with his spare time in the Kitchen. He felt like making a bean cake and I had to tell him how much time it would take him to achieve that. To my surprise, I saw him get that done and bypassed the old time procedures. I was really amazed and encouraged by his smart thinking even in the kitchen. It tasted delicious in the end. Personally, I was thinking it would take him till the next day; this was me siding with the old ways.
Think for instance, why was a horse used to carry humans? Someone felt lazy moving to and fro with his legs. It is the same fate with cars and many of the likes technology we see today. I was going through such a tutorial a day before yesterday on how I could get a thing that was seemingly difficult done easier. As we speak, I have been able to accomplish it.

source
The fact is, the tutorial was far more precise from the old patterns. Have you ever imagined how much easier you could have done something yet the old time teachers walked you through the corridors of stress? A quick one; ‘keep pushing for self education, there is really much to uncover’. Many people think so manually, anything outside this is laziness. It is always surprising how we tend to boast of hard work rather than smart work.
To conclude, let me add, there is a saying, ‘those that follow the crowd end up where they mostly do; nowhere’. I am not saying one should be ignorant of procedures but in the process apply every necessary common sense to distinguish yourself. For an instant, many have been trained to believe that license of financial freedom comes after securing educational papers. It means you must first finish education before venturing into the world of finance.
Of course we know this statement doesn't stand true. If the goal of going to school is security and financial freedom, starting off a business or investing early can be a hedge. We have seen many millionaires who had no sound education tracks. This difference is in their discoveries; defying old ways to do new things in a much better way.
