Can I be sure you are not part of those chasing after the wind. The year is again rounding up and of course we have been privileged to see several decades. The most turned to look back on are the ones that marked our maturity. Depending on region, the Westerners can be 18+ or we can look at 20+ from the African settings.

The earlier one gets realistic, the better. What are your chances of getting rich or attaining some form of financial freedom in the Next 5 or even 10 years. Still depending on the jackpot? Let me even add that a gambler never gets to keep the money; a custodian or trustee I guess he is.

Plan A, B, C or D, just Make sure you have this plans. Aside from being numerous, make sure they are executionally realistic. I could remember my early days of gambling; sport betting to be more precise. My idea was, just keep betting, make the potential payouts big, one day you will cash out’. Talking of one day, my assumptions were within a 4 to five year interval. Maybe the year seemed realistic but not the option itself.

What I missed was the fact that I was working with a poisson distribution. A statistician will know more; we are talking of a rare or ‘rarest of rare probability’ here. Using N200 to gamble for N10 million plus daily in an independent group of events. I did spend more than that to be more sincere.

How about when I jumped into the cryptoverse newly? It seemed I had finally made it. My calculation was to pack some cheap coins and wait; 1000x was real although I never understood the economics. It was more of a pump and dump I guess and I still have some of them left as tokens but extinct in value.

The emphasis on this article is pointing to how planless we can be with a plan or even plans. This article seems more of a follow up of what I recently posted; many are dependent on gambles and as we speak nothing real about how their next decade will look like. This is one of the facts we mostly ignore because we fear entering into depression and avoid taking real life responsibility.

To conclude, let me add, favors do come, fortunes do come but do well to draw your plans and work on them. It is something I will be expanding more in my next article. This one was just to renew our mindset towards ‘thinking, planning and executing’. Of course I am not excluded. You may wonder, how come he is the one writing?

Most times I write out of inspiration so that I can learn in the process; this is one of the added advantages that I like showing up to pull an article here on Hive. There is always something to learn if we are willing to and most importantly, I look at executional knowledge; this is the one that makes the biggest difference. ,
