I have always tried to take the approach of being consistently active on a daily basis. I have been on the platform for a little over a year now and last week I made my 850th post.
I have handed out over 18,000 upvotes and 4,000 comments over that time period. From that activity, my posts and comments have been upvoted over 45,000 times and received over 6,750 replies.
I had stopped looking at these numbers several months ago but now during this bear market, I am looking at them again to help motivate me to keep going. Over time everyone needs a pick me up.
I encourage everyone to be active on their account during this bleak time because at sometime in the future the market will turn around and this will put you in a better position when it happens.
Hive Target
I am targeting 2,500 Hive Power by the end of the year. I know it will be a stretch but don't want to settle for a small achievable goal which would not push me.
I currently have 1337 HP, up 206 from last week. I powered up a larger amount than normal this Hive Power Up Day than the 10 Hive that I normally powered up. I still want to push toward the 2,500 by year end. So I will need to consider adding funds from other sources since the price of Hive is low compared where I believe it will be in a year.
I know it will be very difficult to get to my goal by end of year but I will stay active and not going to stop trying because I am not where I want to be just yet.
Author and Curation Rewards
This week, my 7 day Author rewards decreased again to 27.7 from 30.75 last week. Since I have no control over the value of the votes I receive, the value received from author rewards can fluctuate greatly. I just thankful of the support that I have received from the Hive community during this bear market.
The main thing is for me to consistently create content on a daily basis. I want to continue doing this so that I can get closer to my goals. My 30 day Author rewards took a hit as well dropping to 124.61 from 140.62.
My 7 day curation rewards decreased to 1.60 from 1.70 last week. I have been working to have less of my curation in the dust threshold range, I am hoping the amount I powered up on Hive power up day will assist with that. It will be at least 7 days before I know what effect the power up has on my curation rewards and APR.
Hive Account Growth
Hive Power Up Day was a few days ago. This was my 11th straight one to participate in. Looking at the 30 day graph, the power up makes all of my other contributions look tiny but it should help out with my account growth in the future.
The daily amount earned is also not very consistent and I do not know how to help that part.
Hive Curation
My Hive curation APR dropped back to around the level it was the week before last (6.52%) to 6.90% from 7.88% last week. I try to target a curation APR between 8 and 10%. I believe if my Hive balance was larger there would be less dust and I should be able to have a curation rate between my target range.
Hive Engine Tokens
I am considering adding to my Hive Engine tokens to ensure that I make my year end targets. I know I still have a ways to goal. The tokens that I have chosen have several use cases that are important to me.
Here are my targets and progress for each of the specific tokens I have created a 2022 goal.
CTP - 25,000 - current holding 16,043 (removed 2000 delegation-in)
64.1% of Goal
Alive - 20,000 - current holding 14,342 (removed 1000 delegation-in)
71.7% of Goal
OneUp - 20,000 - current holding 6,575
32.8% of Goal
LEO - 1,000 - current holding 293
29.3% of Goal
