Raffaello (a.k.a. MPLM-2) was one of three multi-purpose logistics modules that were used to ferry supplies to the ISS.

4/

Raffaello was built by the Italian Space Agency and made four flights to the ISS. The first in April 2001 and the last in July 2011.

5/

Earlier this year, Raffaello was transferred to Axiom Space to eventually be party of the Axiom Orbital Segment.

6/

The Axiom Orbital Segment are the planned components of the ISS designed by Axiom Space for commercial use. The first module (Hab One) is scheduled to be launched in 2025.

7/

The Axiom Orbital Segment will be detached to become its own space station when the ISS is decommissioned. Decommissioning is currently scheduled for late 2030.

Raffaello (now called the AxPLM) is planned to be attached to the Axiom Station after it has been detached from ISS and ISS decommissioned.
