I don't own that many gold coins. The first couple I bought were 1/10th ounce and the last couple are 1/4 ounce. I like the 1/4 ounce size because it splits the difference between cost and size plus they are the size of gold coins that were commonly used as money (like the sovereign).

What is your favorite coin?
Being from the U.S. I'm kind of partial to the Eagle but I also like the sovereign and the maple leaf. I love the fact that with gold coins you can often get older coins (Victorian era for instance) for about the same price as new ones.
