Yeah, this all seems scammy to me. Plus it's BASE... I haven't jumped on that bandwagon yet because, well, I really dislike Coinbase and don't like to use their products. Hive has a great model, but the primary people and stakeholders behind it are what holds it back. That's always been the case to be honest, even from the Steem days.
