What did we get up to in that big Steem pump a few years ago? $14 at the high point? Or was it even more? If it happened once, it can happen again. Of course I do hope it would stay that high if it happened, but I've more than learned my lesson and will be moving a lot to HBD to secure those gains.
I'm with you. I plan on laddering out bits and pieces on the way up into HBD. I'm hoping to keep building my stack at these levels for another few months though because I would really like to maintain this level as my "core" position for the long-term. I'd hate to sell 3/4 of it at $10 and then have it run to $25 and never look back. We'll see. That would obviously be a good problem to have. :-)
Actually, that's an interesting question. If you could take $10/Hive right now but never be able to own it again, would you do it? I don't think I would...

If it's all or nothing, then no, I wouldn't. I don't need the money right now so I'd let it build.
But yeah, I guess the thing is to cost average out, a little each week, as Khal is constantly saying. When it's down cost average in, and when it's up cost average out. That way we can enjoy some profits at $10, and keep enjoying them as it goes up. You're right—that would be a very good problem to have!
