For those not in the know yet, Justin Sun and his cronies just took over the blockchain consensus with the help of three exchanges, Huboi, Poloniex and Binance.
As of now, Binance has since revoked the Witness vote they placed which has made it a little bit easier to do what I am about to suggest.
You most likely are in a panic and probably thinking about powering down to protect your investment. Feel free to do that but before you click that button, there is one important thing you must do if you want to maintain the chain that we all know and love before it was pillaged by the Tron CEO.
If you are on SteemPeak, use this link to visit the Witnesses page.
In there you will see the first 20 Witnesses are faceless, no profile picture accounts that were voted in by the stake Justin Sun bought from Steemit Inc and the three exchanges using user funds.
You will also note they are running a new version of Steem software version 0.22.5.
Below them are the previous consensus Witnesses. Use your Witness vote to support them and put them back into the top 20.
Yabapmatt and Blocktrades are currently leading the race so my advice would be to back the leading accounts first since they have a head-start.
Despite any grievances you may have with any of the witnesses, if you do not agree with what has been done by Justin Sun in centralizing the chain, get behind the community Witnesses and win back the chain from the Sun Bots.
