So verwies Ryan Detrick, Chefmarktstratege der Carson Group, kürzlich auf die Saisonalität an den Märkten bzw. die Statistik der Monatsperformance. Diese zeigt, dass die Märkte tendenziell am 20. November ihren Tiefpunkt erreichen, bevor die Weihnachtsrallye zum Jahresende einsetzt.
Besonders im aktuellen Jahr spricht viel für einen grünen Dezember, da im S&P 500 bei bisher positiven Jahresrenditen auf einen roten November ein versöhnlicher Jahresausklang folgte.
„Die Kehrseite der Medaille ist, dass der Dezember selten der beste Monat des Jahres ist. Nur viermal in den letzten 75 Jahren“, bemerkte der Experte Detrick allerdings.

Ryan Detrick, Chief Market Strategist at the Carson Group, recently pointed to the seasonality of the markets and the statistics on monthly performance. This shows that markets tend to bottom out around November 20th before the Christmas rally kicks in at the end of the year.
This year in particular, there's a strong case for a positive December, as the S&P 500 has seen positive year-to-date returns so far, with a negative November followed by a more favorable end to the year.
"The flip side is that December is rarely the best month of the year. Only four times in the last 75 years," noted expert Detrick.

Die Kurse könnten steigen, aber auch fallen, möglicherweise geht es auch seitwärts weiter.
