People who choose to donate an item to the raffle will write a raffle donation post about said item.
Eventually someone will end up putting up a post with all the items people have declared they will donate.
Tickets will be sold by sending hive or HBD to a designated account. Each ticket will be assigned a number. There will be a spreadsheet somewhere tracking everyone’s numbers.
On raffle day everyone will go into voice chat in our discord. And another channel will be used to show the item being raffleled and for chit chat.
Each raffle item will be presented in a set order. We use random number generator to pick the number. Whomever’s ticket is drawn can either choose to take the silver from that round or pick another piece. If the winner is not on discord they can designate someone to pick their prize for them. If they aren’t there and have no designee they person wins the silver from that round. The more tickets you buy, the more chance to win. In the past a free ticket or two has also been given to those who donate to the raffle. Some people like @thedamus have been known to buy 100 tickets to the raffle. Some people like @summertooth have been known to run little side contests where they give away tickets.
Whomever donates a piece of silver to the raffle is financially responsible for sending that silver to the winner anywhere in the world. Which can get spendy if the winner is in Australia or something.
Minimum donation is one ounce for those who do donate.
