After October, GST was collected at a higher rate in November in the government treasury. After the lockdown, all kinds of markets are recovering like before and it has already happened. As a result, it is also affecting the collection of goods and services tax.

After the start of the lockdown, GST was collected in October last month, about 1 lakh 5 thousand 155 crore. The GST collection was almost the same in November. In these two consecutive months, the maximum GST collection limit exceeded Rs 1 lakh crore.

According to a statement from the Union Finance Ministry, there is a positive trend in GST collection. At the end of this month, GST has entered the government treasury at the highest level, which is more than in November last year, about 1 lakh 4 thousand 963 crore.

The lockdown began in March this year to prevent corona infection. As a result, the market contracted for six consecutive months from March, leaving a huge scar on the country's economy.

But now the state of the economy is turning around little by little in line with all the circumstances. Economists believe that the impact of the virus will be able to make up for much of the GST deficit that has existed so far.
