Spring break 2025!

in LeoFinancelast year

the kids are finally out of school for a week. My middle child was really ready for a break. So we decided to follow tradition and head down to southern Utah and see the red dirt.

We got this picture as soon as we pulled into the in-laws house. My brother in law had found these out hiking. The kids loved it. They always want to go shed hunting after we visit them.

Also there are blossoms here.

The drive was amazing today. No traffic the the canyon was beautiful.

I love gloomy cloudy days. I think it’s because i was born up in Seattle. I think a good cloudy day is the best. Most of my family think they ate the worst and depressing. I’d take clouds over sun anytime though.

Looking forward to hiking and showing off what we see here on my blog.

Only a Seattle native would love the gloom over the sun! lol After living in the Caribbean for years there's nothing like a warm tropical day with lots of sun. Great pictures, I love seeing the snow on the foothills like that, better there than in the valley where you have to drive in it. Is that marsh off part of the Great Salt Lake? With the water level down I bet not.
!BBH

this is by a lake called dry lake in sardine canyon.

Interesting, never been to Sardine Canyon before. It sure looks like a marsh more than a lake, it must dry up in late summer I bet.

yup.

It turns into farm land by mid July.

Hahah cool to see the next generation getting into shed hunting, perhaps this would be a tradition in the making
