2/ HDZ can also expect 3 seats reserved for Croatian diaspora, while 8 representatives of ethnic minorities usually support the strongest party. If these result stand, HDZ will be 14 seats short of governing majority and would need to find coalition partners.
3/ HDZ with minorities can gather 70. The easiest path is poaching 6 representatives from DP list, many of whom are former HDZ members unhappy over their party towards centre.
4/ Alternative is technical/minority government supported by smaller centrist parties or even We Can!, which had stated that it would try everything to prevent "dark right wing" from coming to power.
