Everything you wrote here is on point, and I'd say that, although third-world countries like yours and mine are particularly affected by the lack of options to choose from, we're also in unique positions to take advantage of flaws in the system precisely because it works so poorly in our contexts. I've found that people in developed, highly industrialized nations take a lot more for granted and make stronger assumptions about their own freedom.

From the point of view of self-awareness, freedom is the result of accepting the rules of the Universe and taking responsible, conscious advantage of them instead of trying to resist them. Extrapolated to our material reality, this means that we can only work WITH the system rather than trying to subvert or change it.
