If they weren't working they would then find some other work to do, but few people I know directly are the types just to live life at home, even if they have all the money they would need - no matter if they fantasize about it.
Bingo! Many people look for other outlets, even after they retire, and don't have a need for extra income. To keep that mind working, keeping engaged, and the satisfaction that you matter to the world. What fun is it when what you are doing has no real value?

It does sound good, doesn't it? Just look at what is happening here in so many ways, where values are intertwining across the world in a hundred different paths, with tens of thousands of people participating.
It's true, it's happening right now my smaller scale than what do you propose but it's happening and really well see it going is forward. Will I quit my day job? Probably not as I work night! ;)
