Funny you mention that sports are keeping the legacy networks alive because I watch most of my sports through streaming services anyways (peacock - NBC, paramount - CBS, and ESPN). But you are completely right about the Boomers, my parents are the only ones left in my family who haven't cut the cord on cable services, mostly because they enjoy watching programming on legacy TV like Jeopardy and Saturday Night Live.
