I have a friend that use to be our class representative in university, a class representative in Nigeria universities are always very demanding, and it was very difficult for this guy to find a balance in his academies and repping the class not until one of our lecturer advice him to share some his work among his other colleague that was when he was able to face his academics properly. the fact about this is that we are just a human and we can be everywhere at the same sometimes we just have to leave one for the other but to work effectively we must be able to delegate some of the things we want to attend to another person.
the more we grow in life the more things we have to attend to and our time becomes limited. 24 hours becomes so little and things we have to attend to pile up so much that it can even affect us psychologically. some people become so cranky and the stress makes them lose their humanity sometimes. some people just break down in the process and if care is not taken they become hospitalized, some don't even have time for those that love them so much and they end up regretting it.
delegation frees us from all these worries but most people don't embrace delegation because of fear and lack of trust. the reality is that you can't blame them because some people misuse the little power you gave to them and some people are not capable to handle the position you put them in and that is why is it compulsory when delegating to people it must be those that you trust and are capable to handle the position you put them in perfectly.
Delegation frees up time to focus on other projects and manage our time perfectly. Just like hive delegating your hive helps you to get maximize the reward for those that don't have time to curate and all you have to do is to find a trustworthy project to delegate your stake.

Delegation is necessary if we do not want to be affected by the stress too much. Besides, it makes the work easier and reduce the workload on you.
We just need to find a trustworthy person or project to delegate to and be rest assured of good returns.

At some point, it doesn't make sense financially to scale things up, and delegating things out to people to make sure it scales is fine. While I don't do so myself, it just depends on what makes the persons time more valuable because there is only so much time in the day.
