It seems natural to use the tag for content specificity, but that's a habit I learned on Steemit.
I remember that on Steemit tags were the way people found and rewarded your posts, because they could search by tag to find posts they were interested in reading.
Plus most of the content contests used tags to find your posts, so the old members know the importance of content tags.
Now that we are looking at SEO I agree these tags are important again.
And I had to laugh when you said tagging ten tribes for pennies, unfortunately it's true the tribe tokens are worth what they use to be worth.
Perhaps I will have a tag contest in the future just to encourage this specific tag usage pattern :)

It seems to be something taken for granted, by those of us that have been around for a while. But it felt like a good time for a little reminder with the renewed push for SEO and external attention.
