At the beginning of June, we put out a guide on how to swap HBD to HIVE using @tipu. (just send either to @tipu, and include the memo: swap, and the opposite token will be returned to you at the internal market rate).
Some people would say that its smarter to convert using the 3.5 day mechanism, but that is more risky when the HiveBacked Dollar is over or at 1 dollar. We personally remember that when STEEM was over 1 dollar, you got less than one STEEM per SBD. So since we think HIVE might go over one dollar in the next year, we think now is a great time to swap for 3.5x+ HIVEs per HBD.
The @archon-gov account has been receiving funds from two main sources, votes received on proposal comments, (shout out to @brofund for donating a 100% upvote to @archon-gov) as well as the beneficiary program. For those of you who do not yet know, I will review the beneficiary program here:

To support our growing tribe of open developments and open progress, open science and open ecology, any post that has 5% beneficiary or more to @archon-gov, which is also selected by upvote of at least 1 ARCHON community member, will receive the trailed votes of @upfundme, @archon-mining, @archonapp, @archonbank, @doubledice and any other associated accounts in this trail, currently ~8k HP.
All petitions and all proposals additionally must be 100% benenficiary to @archon-gov.
We don't always remember, but we are trying to set 5% beneficiary to @archon-gov on all of our posts, and we see that others are doing the same:
By increasing awareness of this through promotion, as well as by growing the size of the trail, we hope to continue to encourage the expanded growth of this governance account. In a future proposal, @archon-gov may be added to its own voting trail, but for now it is still growing its muscles, fattening with every participant, petition and proposal in the community.
The results of which, so far, has been accumulation. Some liquid HIVE, some HP, and some HBD. This proposal will propose the following:
PROPOSAL: While HIVE is under 50 cents USD, we propose that @archon-gov sends all HBD to @tipu with memo: swap, and then execute a power up of 100% of liquid hive balance.
In the case of the run up in HIVE price to above 50 cents, this proposal would cease to be in effect, and the result would be back to 'holding' until and unless a new proposal for operation above 50 cents is voted into effect.
We propose that this stay on the books for whenever HIVE is at a low price, not just from now until it breeches 50 cents for the first time.
