I don't know about the rest of you, but I haven't been able to access Steemit.com for over 24 hours. Fortunately all the other frontends are working just fine; another testament to decentralization and our fine blockchain.

In other news.
Apparently Jim Parsons tried to explain crypto on the Simpsons. There's a Matrix reference in there and a cute little jingle to go along with it. It even goes so far as to call crypto...
The Cash of the Future!
I'm not exactly sure how relevant the Simpsons still is. I stopped watching long ago. Give it another 10 years and it will be older than half the people on the planet. However, there is still something to be said about this development. A lot of people out there believe in the fortune telling abilities of this show.
There are dozens of these videos on YouTube. People are pretty into it. Honestly I think it's pretty crazy how they have president Trump going down an escalator and waving. It's almost identical to the real life version. Now they are outright saying crypto is the future. Seems bullish :D

The entire tone of the Simpsons crypto explanation is one of:
Yeah we know this is a nerdy complicated thing, but you guys should probably figure it out because it's super important.
Will it come true?
Will crypto become "the cash of the future"?
Certainly most of our little community seems to think so.
It's just a matter of time.

It makes sense that cryptos would become the cash of the future, although I'd hand it to 1960's and 1970's science fiction authors who had their characters gallivant around an entire universe, using some kind of mysterious invisible "credits" that seemed to be legal tender, no matter where you were.

Well, there is the Bart pattern so in a way, the Simpson have already infiltrated crypto 😜

Well, very eerie that the Simpsons did that lol they tend to discuss things prior to it occurring. It's all most likely coincidence, since crypto and the ledger are the dreams of the tax state but perhaps it will help others discover it.
I also have no idea who even watches the Simpsons anymore, I haven't ever really gotten into them. Still amazes me they are on TV still.
