Hit the nail on the head with that analysis. As always, I hope this helps turn some minds, to help some pockets, to better our world. Its up to us - Much love.

Great stuff brother!

To be clear, the FBI story was a crock of shit, and had nothing to do with BTC even. The scammers were using tech the FBI had a back-door into, so even if they had used Monero or another privacy coin - the same results would have happened. It is impossible, with current tech, to even come close to hacking a bitcoin wallet.

This video does a great job of breaking down these accumulation-distribution patterns, the history of them, and so on. Definitely worth a watch!

Thank you so much for clearing up the confusion I have been experiencing about how anyone could have "hacked" a wallet, like it's somehow the blockchain's fault, or how the FBI got their master keys? I was really really confused about those particular details, but now it makes perfect sense. So not really advertising for Monero then (::edit::).
With this info in mind, it sounds more like this particular situation was more likely an orchestrated false flag, which was my original thought when I heard the "news".

What a coincidence that I've come upon your post and listened to a podcast of some friends today where they also mentioned to "not trust the millionaires". Of course we could learn a lot from them, but we should not take their word for it; always DYOR.
