I recently published an article about how Coin Cloud BTC ATMs are bunk, and am now following up on the antithesis of that with LibertyX BTC ATMs being the most legit BTC ATM currently available with NO KYC!
When I first started with cryptos there were only two BTC ATMs in the Portland area, both owned by the same company: BTC NorthWest - one in Clackamas Town Center, and one in Pioneer Square Mall. Historically these were the most ideal ATMS, allowing you to transact in multiple thousands of dollars USD, and grab any of the top coins (BTC, LTC, ETH, and a couple others), all without any KYC (no ID required). Eventually this amount was reduced to only 1k per transaction (KYC for over 1K), but now they require an ID for any amount.
For those of us that prefer anonymity with our finances (which is really most people, whether they admit it or not), all this new KYC implementation has obviously not been ideal. After having so much trouble with Coin Cloud, and already knowing BTC NW is no longer an option - someone suggested I try out the LibertyX ATMs - and I am glad I did.
LibertyX is a very straightforward and non-identity invasive service that only requires you have a working "smart"-phone (and technically an email so you can DL their app), to transact at their ATMs - they never once asked me for ANY type of identifying info including a photo ID. You just type in your zip code, select a local ATM, plug your BTC address into the app, then it gives you 2 hours to get to the ATM and deposit or extract funds.
Many of the LibertyX ATMs only accept debit cards (which completely defeats the efforts of anominity in my opinion), but only a select few that accept actual cash - only three locations in the case of Portland, Oregon - so make sure to pay attention for that when using the app.
The app itself has a professional yet easy to digest layout, but in all honesty is very clunky and needs to be updated ASAP. If you minimize the app to say... copy your BTC address, when you open it back up to paste it in, the app all but freezes, forcing you to close and restart the app again. This happens to me every time I minimize, in turn forcing me to restart the transaction process entirely.
It is also essential to understand the LibertyX ATMs ONLY support BTC transactions - there in NO Litecoin available at these kiosks, which is unfortunate since it is always cheaper and faster (by a lot) than moving BTC. My work around for this however was to use my exchange BTC receive address (in this case Trade Ogre) as the deposit address for the BTC coming to me from the ATM. This allows me to trade for what I want without incurring even more fees than I am already incurring through this process.

While LibertyX does charge the standard 10% increase/decrease on the price of BTC when buying/selling to you (every BTC ATM I have ever come across does this), they only charge a transaction fee of $5.11 for fast or $2.22 for slow (currently) in addition to the percentage. This is much lower than BTC NW's transactions fees which would vary. I have never spent less than $20 USD for a BTC NW ATM transaction fee, and have paid as much as $50 all the way up to almost $100 USD in the past. The LibertyX ATMs also offer a WEEKLY transaction limit of $1400, which could be maneuvered around if you wish, simply by having a second phone, and downloading the app again.
So I was finally able to turn a small bit of cash to crypto again! At least I was able to hit the top side of this "dip", def not keeping the BTC tho, probably ADA and WOW. Transaction successful and (unless they change things later) @ELAmental approved. BTW - this is what you need to do to buy crypto during a dip, bc no one in their right mind is going to sell you any of theirs unless the price is stable or peeking. Absorb the wisdom.
P.S. - BTC transactions are all public ledger and NOT private, so deposit strait to an exchange and swap with any privacy coin to end that nonsense... then do what you want - just a suggestion. I would also get it off the exchange when your ready to sit on your choice of coin(s).
