Let's be real here, social media is not for kids because the negative effects surpasses the positive effects
Now, Australia plans a law to ban social media for kids under 16. Companies must block access, even if parents allow it.

I tend to stand at its up to the parents to decide whats good for their children forst and formost.

completely disagree. Message boards saved me as a kid when I couldn’t find anyone to relate to. I wouldn’t be here today if I weren’t able to make friends online with similar interests who I could talk about my feelings with. I think the good far outweighs the bad but yes, kids need other things in their lives besides screen time.
