Hello fellow readers,
Just wanted to inform you that I sold my remaining ETH position and now my friend the private investor owns the 100% of the pool (he agreed with my decision).
Numbers are as follows at 07/02/2021 :
After withdrawing my respective share of the pool (3,4 ETH; = 5500$ at current prices). I didn't have a significant profit (just enough to offset BTC losses from 40K).
According to my calculations, I invested ~10.000$ and withdrew ~10.500$ which is fair in my eyes. My friend is happy (I'm also happy tbh). He started out with 1300$ in July and now owns 5 ETH or ~8400$ he deserves a dinner or something.
Some of the reasons for this move:
I think there's an alt season coming, and I'm rotating ETH to more speculative bets. I won't/and can't track this properly with this format of content (very fast operations, sometimes changing my mind in minutes/hours. Follow me on Twitter for that type of content or wait for #ProjectBlank.
In addition, I start to feel somewhat burned (repetitive posting) about the same subject and I would like to let the matter untouched for a while. I will keep managing the 5 ETH remaining and might be updating the numbers publicly from time to time.
I want to keep some 'posting powder' to talk about other subjects, and because my optimal efficiency is a maximum of 1-2 posts in a weekly basis, I'm starting to feel annoyed with myself being 'forced' to post about the challenge.
Following Plans
- Keep working on bootstrapping the Spanish community. I didn't report about the matter but a couple of weeks ago I delegated 10K LEO to @aliento.leo (managed by @eddiespino) to start with. I did that because I see there 'efforts' that I consider that I should be doing myself (assuming a part of my responsibility as a whale in this network). My decision in that sense is that If I won't be able to dedicate time, at least I'll dedicate financial support.
Need to mention, my vision when I first joined LeoFinance was to set up a Spanish community, but the rabbit hole of the trading/Defi absorbed me into their depths.
It's being a very productive trip so far, but there's life out there.
- More Binance Smart Chain guides. Lots of people asked me in order to follow me in my Defi ventures, but the learning curve is hard and it's hard to teach. You have to experiment by yourself.
By working on more comprehensive guides in that matter I'm indirectly working on more adoption.
Being all the content immutable on the Hive Blockchain, it's the perfect place to put in hours of written content.
Moreover, It's also something that I enjoy a lot doing & experimenting with.
Check some of my previous guides:
- How to get started in Binance Smart Chain with Metamask.
- How to use Binance Bridge to swap assets between chains.
- Introduction into Venus (incomplete)
And a lot more to work on; Pancakeswap, Yield Farming aggregators, advanced guides of lending/borrowing assets... it's endless!
- More fundamental & trading analysis, more Gems, more degen farming opportunities... more of everything!
Taking as a perfect example the post The Bull case for Travala that I posted a few days ago; expect more fundamental analysis and gem reporting.
Also, more TA, which is already a standard and eventually farming opportunities to consider if you're feeling OK gambling.
Remember that in most cases farming high APY's imply a big risk, so never forget to DYOR by yourself as I'm an internet meme and you shouldn't follow me blindly. I'm not responsible for the losses of anyone.
And that's all I guess :)
LEO Giveaway
Has been a while since my last giveaway post. write a comment (a bit more detailed than 'very interesting thx' ) and I'll be dropping some upvotes 'slightly above' around.
How are you, tell me something about your day. If you're relatively new, what would you improve/change? What would like to see? What has been your first impression/s about LEO & LeoFinance?.
Remember, + effort in the comment (or playing devil's advocate) translates into more LEO to you.
Enjoy your day. And take care out there.

Gas fees did lowered a little bit today, so I moved almost everything from Ethereum network to BSC using Binance bridge. I’m happy now because I think it was a good decision and I don’t have to deal with high fees anymore in the future.

ETH is a whale playground now. BSC is eating a big part of the pie and Huobi Eco chain will follow.

It looks like it pays off to be your friend :) I would like to say a big thank you for supporting my recent posts. I don't know what I did right but I hope I'll keep doing it. I'm relatively new to Leo ( but "old" on hive) and I want to bring more humor and memes to the financial world which seems to take itself a bit too serious sometimes :D

I like when people take things with humour, and in Hive/steem we had enough drama for a while. It's always nice to surround yourself with people able to make you smile, even in the worst situation.
Thx 2 you

Thank you for the kind words :)
I'm really glad to see your great performance my friend.
I have to instruct myself on all those DEFI project you comment. However, for the moment I have enough while trading all the week at Futures which is really profitable.
If you need help, reach to me ;)
Tenim la quedada pendent, aveure si miro d'escaparme a Barcelona.
Abraçada!

Now to change the subject completely, here in greece 2 days ago they announced a stricter lockdown in which we can't get out after 6 in the afternoon on the weekends. To add to that everything is closed! The other days we can go out till 9

We're forced to be at home by 10 pm since mid-october. Feels like ages. I don't know how a club is anymore.

woww since mid october... Don't expect easter as well :P

Yeah I saw you were sucked into the defi stuff and that stuff can be time consuming even if it can be really profitable plus you were also involved with some other projects and invested in them, keeping up with them can even stop you from effectively creating the contents you want. I think delegated 10K LEO to @aliento.leo feels right since you wanted to start up a Spanish Leo community. Maybe later you'd get involved.

Exactly my thought. Thx Jose :)

Hope you are doing well with your goals.
Curation is a time consuming activity but interesting too. it's nice you are delegating the stake to help the community.
I plan to transit myself from Author to curator and trader in long run.

I can empathise with this a lot. Feeling I'm not using my stake as well as I should to contribute to the bigger picture growth of the platform.
I'm a big proponent of encouraging content that is about actual finance topics. All the DeFi and trading posts you release are some of the best to be honest so I'd encourage you to keep going.
I'll add you to my once a day auto voter now.
Anyway, keep pushing mate. It's good to have you as a part of the community!
Muhahahhahaa!
Not today ;)

Is it rude of me to say that I was surprised when you said you're a Spanish-speaking person?! Your writing is superb. :)
The one thing I can say about #LeoFinance is that the quality of content is top notch compared to other similar platforms. Not sure why exactly, but it's just better. And I'm also loving LeoDEX! (I guess that's two things.)
Anyway, pleased as punch to meet you! I've followed you and set you on my curation radar, so I look forward to reading more. Cheers.

Reading English content almost every day since ~10 years ago and all the required investigation for analyzing projects fundamentally definitely helped hehe
The language is a big barrier for Spaniards. We're very lazy/conservative in that sense. And still a very big % of the population struggles with that matter (even some of the youngest). Sad but true reality.
Thx for the compliment dave, cheers.

Well, your uncommon interest is highlighted in the layers and the life of your writing... it's not necessarily about technical perfection, but I can feel your honesty and curiousity and that's worlds better. Cheers! I'll keep my eyes peeled for more of your work. :)

My day today was not very productive .... Things overwhelmed me today ... They made my day a little gray. But always my rainbow was by my side my daughter Daniela ...

First of all, I can say that you have inspired me a lot. I always like to learn a lot about Blockchain technology, but I never realized that there is a place I can learn but also share a few things I know and be rewarded at the same time! I joined this network after watching a Youtube video, I only have two days since I joined here! In fact today my day is very good because I have managed to earn 3 USD on my two articles, I did not expect that at all because I am a new member so I did not know if anyone can see my articles are important and giving me a reward! I am truly fortunate to be here and I will make great efforts to continue sharing what I know about Blockchain technology. Thank you for inspiring me, blessed!
