I think that for everyone that makes it, every Josh Logan, there must be a thousand aspirants who started out trying to be a YouTuber and just gave up,
This is most of life though, not just YouTube. Early advantage is always a good bet; sometimes it's effort and other times it's sheer dumb luck.
Ah yes, I know it's most of life, but I wonder what the drop out rate is compared to 'regular careers'.
I'd also be interested in seeing the data frankly, makes for some intriguing comparisons
