So, what did I do with some of my tax returns/stimulus money this year? Well, I did reinvest some of them back into the market, IRA, and some others. At the same time, I felt the need to spoil myself and the family a bit.
This looks like an ordinary blanket. But dang, it's one of the softest and most plush blanket I've ever came across in my life! It came from a local business in Utah called Minky Couture. You can read all about the company's history on their website.
In short, I would call them designer blankets. They are handmade and much more expensive than the random stuff you could pick up at Walmart. In fact, on their website, you could even have your own custom-made orders filled. Minky Couture offers other products such as bath robes, scarves, and pillow cases. So, if you want to get your cuddle game on, it's something you could look into.
How did I come across this product? At a friend's house actually. They received some of these blankets as gifts this last Christmas. They have the blankets laid about in their family room. The kids seem to enjoy the texture and keep snuggling with them. Afterwards, I decided to check out their website and the rest is history.
Let me tell ya, it's some pricey stuff. The discount for membership may seem great, but it's a $20 a month deal and I wasn't going to spend that money. Instead, I bought a few blankets straight up. But dang (again), the quality of the product is unbelievable. I can't begin to tell you how it feels to snuggle in those blankets. The best I can do is offer you some gifs from Re:Zero to represent the joy and satisfaction we felt while wrapped in them.

That is pretty cool! It is super important to splurge on yourself every now and then. I ordered a couple of bottles of whiskey yesterday that I am looking forward to picking up tomorrow. Are these blankets made with real mink fur?

Nah, they are Minky fabric, which is made from polyester. But, I can see why people want mink fur back in the days.
