Yesterday I found out I'm rich. I've been rich for some time, but as I'm not the type to check all my asset's value every morning, I haven't noticed. The reason I went to check my Metamask wallet was the Actifit airdrop and not because of the airdrop value, but because I was curios.
My Wallet 💰
My Metamask wallet is mostly used for CubDeFi and PancakeSwap, therefore my assets are limited and I knew exactly what I'm holding. Imagine my surprise when I saw 7 assets in my wallet, out of which only one was mine. I'm not the greedy type, so seeing assets that doesn't belong to me in my wallet is always reason for concern.
When I checked what it was that I am holding, I saw the AFIT token that I knew about and six other tokens I've never heard of. Checking the amount, gave me a clue of the token value. When you see 800k tokens in your wallet that you haven't put there, you kind of have a hunch what the value of it is.
One of the coins I have in my wallet is AIR. Yes, I may be ignorant, I admit that, but I've never heard of it.

No Such Thing As Free Money
People are always dreaming of getting rich but they want to win the lottery, rather than work hard to build something valuable. We're at the last leg of the bull run and things are getting crazier every day. The market is pumping and this is the right time to get rich, but not for everyone. Sorry to say that, but only the smart are going to get rich.
Now that crypto is becoming mainstream, there's a huge opportunity to make money. But how?
The poor and less knowledgeable are looking to buy early and catch an 50 - 100x pump. Who can sit an opportunity like that out? This is the chance to get rich, once in a lifetime opportunity. This is where all these nice dog coins come in. Getting 1000k tokens for $10 or $100 is very appealing, especially if the say it's going to shoot to the moon.
As the market takes off, people start buying and buying and buying. This is the time smart people are starting to sell and sell and sell, taking profits as they know what's coming.
Remember, in order for you to buy, someone has to sell and vice versa. We hate these meme coins and other similar coins but they have a purpose and that is to bring money in the market, money that will migrate from the impatient to the patient.
It's A Golden Opportunity
It's true, this is a golden opportunity as you can make life changing money, but not everyone will make it. Those who are in the market from day one knowing this is a good coin to scam people out of their money will know exactly how much to sell and when, in order to achieve their goals, while the rest will be making 10x, 20x, 50x on paper and then watch their asset go to zero in minutes.
So don't fall for cheap stuff, chose the right way. Buy the right tokens, learn how to do it and protect your assets. Better earn less but secure your profit. If not, there's always a casino around where you can try your luck. Remember, every $10 lost is someone else's gain. Why not be you who is collecting the gains?

you might want to compare the token contract in you BSC wallet to the one you're looking at on CoinGecko. Most of these free airdrops are scams and are worth nothing.

Be really careful interacting with these worthless tokens that you find in your wallet.
They're often scammers either fishing for active addresses to sell to marketers, or designed to hook you into connecting to a scam exchange.
Best practice is to never touch them, not even to transfer out of your 'main' wallet.

I've recently heard of scam contracts also, they dump some coin in your wallet and when you approve the contract it can impact your other tokens. I'm not clear on the details, but I've started to be more careful about what is in my wallet and where it came from on MetaMask.
