RE: The 100- who mined KOIN yesterday

Early adopter is a word, yes :)

In the end, it may be everything you mentioned - a scam, a huge success. Or, more likely, something in between. I bet on the last one.

About the reporting frequency. After several more days, when I see that the reports are working (they are now with miner v1.0.1), I'll switch to weekly too.

Good luck with mining!

Sort:

Yeah, I received an email from the team today where they mentioned they have a new stable version. I will try that out and leave it to luck in mining those coins. My mac will remain turned on for a week at least.

It's working. I already have several proofs submitted with the new miner.

Good luck!

I hope mine is working fine. I will know that in 5 days.

I cheer for you :)

In the meantime, I installed the third miner, five minutes of work. This one is on a notebook and will only work from time to time. It's not powerful enough.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks.
Quick question. Do you need to fund for all the miners that you own or you can use the same funding address for all miners?

This is a tricky question :)

Officially, you have to set a different funding address for every miner you install.

Unofficially, it works with the same address for each miner. The trick is to use the Recover Key button after you install your second miner, and then enter the password and all 12 words of the phrase from the first miner.

This way you'll be using the same funding address for both miners.

The problem could arise when both miners try to post their results at the same time. You can avoid this by keeping them on a different schedule. It's extremely unlikely to happen, in my opinion, when you have them reporting daily or at even longer intervals.

So, yes, I am funding all three miners that I currently run, from the same address.

Yet, it is your decision and your risk! :)

ha ha not a financial advice. I get it. Thanks for the clarification.
