Substack is a good alternative to blogging. I am not yet there because I have no idea for the niche to choose. However looking at how many people are getting paid subscribers, It's somethng to explore over.

It seems like a nice avenue to explore further.
Yes, even for say 5 dollar sub*10 people, it can pretty much make a good income for say 8 articles per month (2 times a week).
Yep. The challenge would be as you said earlier, what niche and also building your list/subscribers.
I've heard other people raving about this, need to get on board myself!
