In my family, I'm the "responsible one" that everyone counts on when something goes wrong. Also the local tech support and knower of odd facts due to my prodigious reading ability. Not the one asking for favors, but usually giving them. So i can understand the need to be there as the rock for other people. It's doing the good work that needs to be done.
