RE: The Future Of Hive Is In YOUR Hands...

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Thanks. It was intended as a one-off endurance run to leave 500 comments over a ten-day period which ended successfully on Sunday.

I met a lot of great people and it was a blast sprinkling thoughtful comments on lonely, but deserving, posts.

The last few days of the challenge, I pulled all-nighters which threw my body clock out of whack and which I'm trying to re-set.

But trust me, it was an absolute labor of love and proof that it can indeed be done. #ILoveHive!

In future, I may do a lighter version of the challenge; say 100 comments over 5 or 10 days. Thank you so much for stopping by and showing your support, but I'm so pooped (can barely keep my eyes open), that I'm heading straight to bed and will respond to any new comments when I awaken. Sleepyhead is signing out. :)

This is great!! I love it! I'm adding it to my to-do Notion board. I'm not sure if 10 days is the right time frame for me, but I'd love to join you and promote your innitiative :)

Thanks for the inspiration

Thanks Alex. Overall though I'm surprised with the lack of response to this post and had expected more but it is what it is. Thanks for being one of the few though. :)

That's OK.

Sometimes good quality material gets lost and under-rewarded or under-engaged. It is what it is. This place is not perfect, but it's way better than company-owned social media. True hardcore, long-term Hivers will find stuff like this and interact honestly with you. There are some really great people I've had the chance of interacting with.

I have not been here as long as you and I may not have a whole lot of HP, but I do have skin in the game, And I'm doing everything I can to grow my stake to make my vote count towards governance, DHF proposals, to reward content that deserves to be rewarded, and to downvote abuse. In the past year I've removed all Dlease delegations because I don't feel delegated HP through that platform is being used correctly and I've also removed my delegations to large curation accounts as I feel many of them can be biased and leave awesome content like this under-rewarded. It's a small contribution, but it's real, it's mine, and it's helping steer this ship.

And you just touched on why I'm still here almost six years later. Warts and all, Hive is still the best place to be on the blockchain! :)
