Save Money for Crypto

Looking for ways to save money and help stretch your dollars further? Today, I'm going to share some of the money saving tips that I use to get more bang for the buck, and save money for crypto!

Save money by never paying full price

One of the most common things I do is to wait for items to drop down in price. Depending on where you shop, a new product will be at maximum price, but after 60, 90 or 120 days, you'll see some significant reductions. So if you can hold off on that initial purchase, you might just get what you want for a lot less.

Delayed gratification can allow you to fill your bags with more crypto, so that you can increase your stake even faster. The cash savings from the money you would have spent when buying in haste, can help grow your Hive and Leo power, for even more curation rewards. My goal is to land in the top 20 upvotes whenever I can and waiting for falling prices can help me do just that.

Save money by buying out of season

Every year, I pick up a bunch of those bulk-sized hand warmers. They come in handy for instance, if I have to work outside in the dead of winter. The funny thing is, I almost never buy them in the late Fall when they're generally first in stock, but in the Spring and early Summer when they're on sale. Right now, I have a container full of them that I bought over the last few months when they had marked them down and were trying to get rid of them. Thus when Winter comes calling, I'll be all stocked up.

I do the same thing when long-sleeved shirts and jackets go on sale beginning in the Spring. You've got to learn how to play one season off another in order to realize some nice savings. Let everybody else who want it "now" pay full price. I'm happy to wait and save BIG!

Save money by stalking the clearance isles

I'm not afraid to be seen wandering through the clearance section, after eyeing those bright yellow "Falling Prices" signs. You wouldn't believe how low they are willing to cut prices in order to move old merchandise. I'm all too willing to take some of that stock off of their hands and use the savings to pick up some more crypto. I love the idea the the big box stores are indirectly allowing me to increase the upvotes I can give to our awesome content creators.

Yet, when I see something that fits the bill and I just have to have, there's a benefit to put the next idea in play. Many times, shoppers just look at the listed price without knowing that the next tip will help them save even more.

Save money by buying in bulk

I used to shop for a lot of things and would put one or two into my shopping cart. However, once I began checking out the unit price, it became obvious that I'd save money buy buying in bulk. This benefits the store as they can move more merchandise quicker, while cutting down on shopping trips and providing more value for me. I now choose the 20 roll of Scott toilet paper, where I used to get just a couple of single rolls. Makes more sense to me, and saves me a ton of time. And you know what they say: "Time is money and the money is mine!"

So those were just a few tips to get you started on your money-saving journey. Do you have any favorite shopping tips that you'd like to share? Please leave a comment below so we can all help each other save money.

It's definitely an issue. Sometimes I find myself missing the ride though when I try to grab things at a discount because it never happens.
