Hi hivers, if you are looking for the information regarding "Crypto vs Mutual Funds: Risk & Return," then you have landed on the right place. There are two sides to anything, and investing has these two sides: return and risk. In our language, there is a famous one-liner: "risk he to ishq he jaha risk nahi waha ishq nahi," which means when there is a risk, there is love. All these things indicate that risk is the most important factor for any space, whether it is the crypto market or any real-life thing. Investors' primary goal is higher returns, but which way you take to get those high returns matters a lot. Anyway, here I am breaking down two popular investments: mutual funds and cryptocurrency. Let's check them.
Crypto fluctuates a lot and has a lot more volatility than any other asset in the world. That is why crypto means high risk and high reward. Tweets, speculation, and global news impact crypto price. Do you know that volatility helps you to generate gains in the short term, but at the same time, it can wipe out your investment quickly. However, crypto's technology is unmatchable, and for the holders, it is profitable most of the time, but it depends on which coin you invested in. Crypto has a decentralized nature that is special for the people.
Mutual fund investment is a stable but returns are very limited. Here you know it has just 12% APR max, on the other hand, crypto's stable coin provides a minimum of 15% APR, and the hbd savings is the prime example of it. There is a term called diversification, which is why we have to choose mutual funds too, for the diversification of your portfolio. Mutual fund investment itself follows the diversification rule, but there is a risk too, but it is less risky.
Mutual funds and crypto are two different things. Crypto has more potential and opportunities, and we have to admit that. Mutual funds provide steady growth. I can say that just follow the golden rule, and that is balancing risk, and that is only possible with diversification. We can Crypto is better, but the risk is higher, which is why we have to diversify the portfolio. That is why mutual funds should be an option in our list when it comes to investing. That's all for the day. Now I am signing off.

And don't forget mutual funds are controlled by banks, they can decide whatever they want with the funds and your money! And you might even be forced to keep them locked for some years there
yes strongly agree with that point.
Great explanation! I'm still learning on how to invest on Crypto, what coin can you suggest for beginner aside from Bitcoin with which really pricy.
I'm not earning that much in mutual funds. I'm disappointed with the result of it, yes It's not a loss but the gains also is very very low.
HBD savings in hive is much better than mutual funds.
How well you say it and although they are very different from each other, cryptocurrencies are just beginning to develop their potential and if we add to that what would be a devaluation of Fiat currencies, they have much more room for growth, giving us that opportunity to increase our profits more quickly.
Nicely said, thanks for reading this post.
