you've stated a very strong position but you should also remember that even the physical currency faces volatility. For instance, Naira as of earlier this year was exchanged around 700/$ but the case I'd different today 1000+/$
That's inflation not volatility. Naira is a medium of exchange just like USD, so you have to value naira with what it can buy and not with USD. If you use 1 NGR to buy goods today it will still remain 1 NGR tomorrow. That's the difference.
