All those years around the crypto-verse i have seen many relevant posts and stories similar to that one. You see most of us have friends or family who consider what we are doing a waste of time, a scam, or even a gamble. To tell you the truth i can understand their logic and how it's formulated but it's far from truth.
So there are these people who think like that and never change their way of thinking, In i a way i feel for them but a category that gets on my nerves is the "crypto-friends". That's a name i invented just a couple of minutes ago and i am talking of those friends or again family members with whom we all have shared a couple of info regarding cryptos or simply informed them a certain time in the past that we are involved with it.
So these people won't pay attention at all to cryptos, or to what we were saying to them back then. Possibly some of you may have heard way too many negatives as they try to show off, trying to hide that they basically don't know anything and that they are afraid of the "new".
So when the pumps come these people are the first ones that will reach out to us saying something "hey how are you, let's go for a coffee" or be more direct with comments like "the price of BTC went up i saw". Honestly speaking nowadays i don't even bother with them and i say that i ma not involved with cryptos, i believe in them but i don't have any time.
Even though i know that this isn't the way to bring more people over to the crypto-verse, honestly i don't even care about bringing these kinds of people. I believe that they will be the same people who will buy high, sell low and then blame cryptos and say that everything around cryptos is a scam. In other words they will bring more harm than good in the community, or at least that's what i believe!

There's that and the possibility of onboarding new people on crypto. Love the trend or hate it, it's what brought some people you know into the space, most probably left during rough times but some remained long enough to be your bros in the space.
hmm i don't know how to explain it but you may have felt it as well since you a for a while in the game. Some people can give you the vibe that they will drop out while others that will stay! So far i was right, thankfully out of all those people, one stayed and have made 6 times my Hive account worth! I am quite happy for him!
I agree with that, "crypto-friends" are back. Whit this market everything can happen.
