It's true that people can earn money from "traditional" social media (as if it's been around for generations!), but that's only after acquiring insane numbers of followers. It's like living the real-life version of Rising Star only without the sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll. Many try, few succeed.
For many people, traditional social media is a rigged system benefitting only The Few.
