Hello to Hive Fam,
I hope that life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world.
With Hive, there are many things that we need to learn. While it's important to grow the HP stack, I still think some good measures can help me grow my hive power stack even more. Buying Hive and powering up is a direct investment in Hive coin, but there are some other ways that we can follow to grow the HP stack. I have seen some people posting their content with the 100% power-up option. It looks good because this way they can get more HP as part of the author reward, and the region is simple. After all, the coin price is low.
I thought, why shouldn't I give it a try, so I started using this option, and this week you can see that I posted a few blogs with that option, and in this case, I'll not be getting any HBD. I use HBD for investing in the game primarily, so maybe not all the blocks, but at least some of them, I can publish with this option. Maybe I can follow a 5050 approach, where 50% of the blogs I post will be following this methodology. This way, at least I will be able to grow my HP Balance faster, and obviously, I cannot be holding a million HP over the night, but this is a small step towards a bigger holding, and I believe that it is high time we should try to accumulate more HP.
I believe it's simple that something is better than nothing, so even if I try this methodology, where half of my post will be following this option, it will help me have and hold more HP, which is something that everyone aspires for. Unfortunately I'm running out of funds so unable to invest on the high for now but if somehow I earn some money I would be happy to invest on high so that I can grow my power even more and my immediate milestone is going to be 100K power which I hope to complete by as early as possible But if I talk about the timeline then I'm not sure.
This is my current HP stack, and below is the growth in the last one. I have taken this from the Hivestats web portal, and this is a nice portal to track the account and its growth. the
We earn curation rewards, so with higher hive power, the curation reward is also high. I have delegated my HP, but it is not much, and roughly it is about 10% because I believe it is good to use the HP by myself and earn curation reward rather than delegating it to another project. Curation is a good way to generate some passive income, and for that reason, I believe holding more power brings better curation reward, or you can say higher curation reward, and this is the reason why I do not like to delegate a lot of my power, rather keeping it in my control, and I can use it.

For now, I am going to use this option quite a few times in a week with my blogs earn reward with 100 percent power up, and because this is for the long term so I hope this will help me grow my HP stake faster. Low hive price is surely an opportunity, and I believe below 20 cents for the hive is the best deal. I have done it a lot in the past, but it's just that I'm not running out of funds, so I have no resources to invest anymore in the current scenario.

I do think that the 50/50 approach will be the better route. In days like these, where the cryptomarkt seems to be bleeding, the HBD could be used to buy Hive. That HDB stays around the dollar, but Hive did take a drop so you could purchase more HP for the same effort.
I do follow that the 100 route is a lot easier and doesn't involve decision making.
Recently came back to Hive after a long break. I do use the following approach. 50/50 hive/HBD. Half of the HBD will be pushed to the savings account and the other half will stay liquid. I will use those for market drops, to get more Hive.
Both are good options that one can change depending upon hive prices. I see some people following 100% power up and I also do it because I just want all the rewards in form of hp and don't want to convert HBD manually to hive and then power up. Keeping HBD in saving also good move and I had it however I covereted all that to hive because of low price. Happy weekend
Publishing posts with the 100% HP option can also be a good way to measure how much Hive Power you earn in a month. I used this method many times in the past. After my account surpassed a certain level, I continued using the 50-50 method. 100,000 isn't that far off for you because, as you said, you earn quite a lot from curation every month.
This sounds like a good strategy that you followed man. 100k is my goal for now and I really hope I get there soon. Lets see when that happens.
You'll be there in no time man, as far as I can see you grow 2k HP every month without power ups. That makes around 10 months and if you power up you can be there faster
I want to buy more hive, but running short of sounds so once I have more money, I will inject on hive, which will help me reach this goal fast. happy weekend
Investing at the right time is a good idea. If I had bought Hive at 4 cents during the last dip, it would have tripled in value by now :P You never know what the market will do, so there's no need to rush. We're in Hive for the long term.
50-50 is undoubtedly a great way but my mentor here once told me that whenever the price of hive is less than 30 cents, try to power up 100%, especially until your HP goals are reached. Because getting Hive at such a low price would be a golden opportunity to increase Hive power, which cannot be missed.
Say thanks to your mentor because he has given you golden advice.
50/50 and 100% power up are both good approaches to increase your account growth. As the price of Hive is low so 100% powerup is a good option

absolutely my friend.
I am satisfied with 50/50.
Nice to know that. Both options are good, depending on which one you want to use
