I know that coinbase is listed in stock market so are they trying to issue their coin also along with shares to get money from market ?

i am not sure that can be done after the fact unless they convert it over. However, Coinbase could get into the game where other companies opt for the tokenized route instead of traditional stocks. This is the idea behind the security token.
It will require approval and for these to be acknowledged under securities law as a viable option.
