All I can say is: they didn't do their homework. Also, if you didn't get paid and publish this on a public platform and they benefit, that raises all sorts of questions for me. For you, too, I am sure.

I didn't plan on them considering my opinion would benefit their business so it didn't hurt my feelings too much when they didn't accept it.
Had they not paid me though?? The whole thing would've read much different. 😉

I am glad they paid. I'd also have taken the money. I've done commissions and because they've not liked my angle, not been paid...
