✨ KIVA has officially upgraded ahead of schedule from a Layer 2 (L2) solution to a Layer 1 (L1) public chain! ✨
This groundbreaking advancement places KIVA in the league of leading L1 blockchains such as Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Avalanche. From now on, all development and project construction within the KIVA ecosystem will focus on harnessing the full potential of a truly decentralized and efficient L1 blockchain infrastructure.
🔔 Important Upgrade Details:
- Temporary Access Issues
During the upgrade process, users may experience temporary disruptions in accessing the:
Original blockchain explorer
Testnet environment
These services will be restored to normal after the upgrade is finalized.
- Token Conversion Notice
The previous $KIVA test tokens and $MC (MotiCoin) incentive tokens will be retired.
Upon completion of the upgrade, user-held test tokens will be automatically converted into new tradable KIVA tokens on the KIVA L1 mainnet, based on historical issuance records.
- Community Rewards Distribution
The current distribution methods via App, Telegram, and Web Mining remain unchanged.
Once 50% of the community token allocation is distributed, rewards will be mapped to the L1 chain and converted into tradable KIVA tokens.
- L1 Testnet & Mainnet Launch
After the upgrade:
The KIVA L1 Testnet will go live with faucet-supported test tokens for community testing and performance optimization.
The KIVA L1 Official Mainnet will open Node Operator Applications.
✅ Tutorials and reward structures will be released soon—community members are encouraged to participate.
