RE: Introducing LeoPedia.io | An Onramp to Hive and LeoFinance

in LeoFinance4 years ago

The inception of LeoFinance (formerly known as SteemLeo) was born out of a desire to bring new users to the Steem Hive blockchain. Our goal is and has always been to bring in new users to the Hive ecosystem so that our project and other Hive-based projects can flourish.

This!

The whole reason I became active on LeoFinance was that I heard @khaleelkazi say this on one of the early episodes of the LEO show podcast.

Hive and Leo are still such echo chambers, but it won't always be like that with outward-facing projects like LeoPedia.

Great to see the site looks great aesthetically too (unlike the LeoFinance front end, but that's for another day).

To submit something to LeoPedia, you just need to post to Hive as you normally would, but follow a few easy guidelines:

In terms of submitting articles to LeoFinance, have you considered doing weekly competitions focused on a specific topic?

Do your keyword research and create all of the URLs with H1's that you want to rank for and make people insert that LeoPedia link into their targetted content.

This will help build a good network of links targetted to the actual topics which is good for SEO, as well as giving LeoPedia editors a trove of content to choose from when publishing the final version of the page.
