For me, I never understood why Splinterlands paid all that money to use the image of a dipshit rapper in a fantasy card game. Just seems like such a strange fit.
Also, if they're the same card, why would bringing Waka back to Hive in order to sell, make any difference? Like if people on Hive want it, can't they just get a good deal right now by converting their tokens to WAX and buying it there?
Anyway, I always take value from reading your thoughts about the game, so thanks for sharing :)

Who said we paid "all that money" for it?
Lol, I guess that was an assumption on my part?
Happy to hear you're implying that the team got good value ;)

I feel like they made their money back and then some. It just feels like they are starting to overspend though instead of giving back to the players. I could be totally wrong though.
They sold out here on hive in under 1 minute so brining them back from Wax I feel it's going to be another really quick sell again.
Not necessarily. In Phase 1 people thought Waka was a high meta card. People have experience with it now and I woud definitely say it is not anywhere near the level of Yodin, Lama, or Kitty. I think the team needs to add another buff to it. My suggestion is for it to be -1 Melee since Zintar will not be playable in modern format.
Also people who paid more than $1500 in Phase 1 for Waka will likely be salty and hesitant to buy Waka again. I could be wrong though, so who knows...
Most Splinterlands players value utility far more than collectibility in my opinion. One of the reasons Waka sold out so fast in Phase 1 is because almost everyone severely overestimated the poison meta. Sometimes the meta of a card isn't known until it's actually tested in real play.
